The author and illustrator of The Kids of the Bible Storybook are a father/daughter team. Kaitlyn was born prematurely, weighing only 3 pounds, 4 ounces. Each day, her father, Franklin visited her in the hospital, where he held her tiny hand while quietly singing Jesus Loves Me as a prayer for God to keep Kaitlyn strong and healthy.
Little ones to him belong. They are weak, but he is strong.
God answered those prayers and kept her safe. Their hope is that these 12 stories of kids in the Bible will encourage children to experience God’s love for themselves and that they will carry that confidence with them throughout their entire lives.
